haha omg i totally forgot that i've been on dA for 6 years now~ :0 daaaang.

so this weekend has been soooooooooooooooooo hectic.

saturday: cousins wedding and reception.
It was my first experience with a western/catholic/white wedding lol. Usually i'm use to weddings being like 3 hours since indian weddings are that long and stuff o-o. but it was a nice experience~ and the wife's family is so nice

the reception was also fun~ OPEN BAR LOL. well i don't drink, but i stashed myself with a lot coke, sprite, and ice tea LOL. i had a real good time~ lots of cute guys too ;D

oh, this reception was at the Fort Garry Hotel. for those who know.
its the most expensive hotel/ballroom/restaurant in Winnipeg city.
$200 a night
about $1000 ball room
$50 per person for a brunch

and my aunt and uncle from london came to winnipeg for the wedding, these people are filthy rich. and booked the adults 6 rooms overnight lakjdsf. my sister and i got to say cause my grandma didnt want to sleep alone in the room.
AND FOR THOSE WHO KNOWWWWW. the fort garry hotel is haunted.
the 2nd floor is haunted
room 202 is the room that has a lot of paranormal activity

one of the stories was something like;
a bride and groom got married at the hotel. that night the groom went for a stroll and got ran over by a horse carriage, he died.
and the wife committed suicide. the brides ghost still haunts the floor looking for her husband.

we all got the second floor.
and there was apparently a lot of paranormal activity happening in a few rooms :0 like things randomly dropping, lights mysteriously flickering, screaming at night along the lines on 'GIVE ME BACK MY RING!!!!'
i didn't hear a thing. but the bed was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy too fluffy so i barely got any sleep lol.
and now i officially hate elevators.... *motion sickness*

Sunday: ok so wake up after the horrible sleep. go to the main hotel area seeing this huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge buffet and food everywhere. but i felt extremely grumpy that morning. and the conflicting smells of the food got me to lose my appetite :S.
i actually had work that day so we ended up leaving early.
after work. there was a family get together at the cousin's (well his parents) house.
the wife's family came early and did their partying since they had a long ride back to calgary. (FFF I WISH I WAS THERE EARLY ;n; I WANTED TO MINGLE WITH THE CUTE BOYYSSS)
and then my family came in the afternoon.

THIS WAS THE DAY OF THE SOLAR ECLIPSE RING OF FIRE!
i didn't get to see the full eclipse but i saw the partial eclipse. it was the most amazing thing i ever experienced :0 i'm a total moon person so stuff like this really fascinates me. the last eclipse i saw was the lunar eclipse in 2007. and i will never forget that moment.

that night my cousins, sister and i went out to a rooftop lounge type thing to chill.
but food sucked
and service sucked lol.
buuut the atmosphere was really nice :0.

monday: had another family get together since my aunt and uncle from london were leaving. also had work that day.
it was cold and raining. oh well. i like hanging out with my family.

luckily i dont have work today. time to just relaxxxxxxx
