Ah yes. Just finished my annual watcher cleanse. There was once a where I had 13k followers. How I accumulated this much? Easy. It was the addiction of the ever popular DAhub (may this account rest in peace) Paying a certain amount of points for achieving mass amounts of followers. Back in 2018 I did a mass cleanse which took about a month on and off. That 13k went down to 3k. With the amount of users that were inactive to deviantart deactivated accounts and banned accounts. Ohhhh boy did that feel satisfying. After a while though, with the amount of activity I was getting through the number of watchers I had didn't add up. So I decided to do another deep cleanse individually looking into how active the account to my profile and more specifically, my art. From that 3k followers I am averaging to about 400 active followers who I deeply appreciate. So I just wanna say, Thank you to those who have been old time followers and New time followers.
